Do I really need another wrap dress?

I have 20 dresses by last count, but just got rid of 2 out of my 3 wrap dresses. And this is DVF. And it's cashmere! And I'm within SYC, one-in one-out. What to do, what to do?

I'm pretty sure you cannot have enough wrap dresses:P

Any idea how much this dress would go for brand new? With 2 days left on the auction, and 6 (?) bids already, its bound to go up quite a bit. The wear and pilling would concern me. The pictures don't really give a clear indication of how worn it is, and I couldn't make out the discolorations they mentioned.

Now that I've gotten all the reasonableness out of the way, it's GORGEOUS and would feel simply amazing against your skin.

Traci, this is 'shop handled' with tags on it. So I imagine many would-be owners gave it a try but never took it home. I suspect you are right about the bids going way up. It was at $56 last night with just 2 bidders. I can't see spending over $200, so it may just be a pipedream that never materializes. Ah, but a gal can dream . . .

It's not so much whether it's a wrap dress or not but whether you love it and know it would get wear. Sometimes we need to trade out the old for the new just because we are ready for a change. I'm just beginning to come to terms with the fact that sometimes a clothing item that I loved last year just doesn't sing for me anymore.
