Do I need both of these shoes?

So I've already bought these... Uggs

And I'm contemplating getting these... Cole Haans

I've coveted both for a while. I was picturing wearing the Uggs casually with shorts and cropped pants. They're a pretty good nude for me. The Cole Haans are a little dressier, so I could probably get away with wearing them to work with long pants. But what do you think, are they too similar?

I'm also somewhat considering these... Cole Haans... But I think I might prefer the Lunar Grands which I have tried on, and they are super comfy.

I can attest that the Cole Haan Alisa's are also super comfy. I don't think that either of the CH choices are too similar to the Uggs - completely different vibe. Of course, I'm of the "never too many shoes" mind.

I have a hard time with "need" and shoes in the same sentence so excuse my enabling. I think the two are completely different and you would get use out of both as long as you can wear the Cole Haans to work.

Hmmm if the Alisa's are just as comfortable, that pushes the scales in their favor. Being slightly more streamlined, I might be more likely to wear them to work and possibly with skirts? I'm trying to decide whether I really would wear them to work or whether I would just stick to my staple pumps. I may need to do an unfrumped-style post trying them on with different outfits if I do order them.

I *love* the CHs (both colors). If they didn't hurt my feet (bunion; sigh), I'd buy them. (Aerosole has a cheaper and more comfy knock-off, but they don't look nearly as nice.) Perfect fall casual shoes with a completely different vibe than the Uggs IMO. No idea about how either would look with skirts, though.

I think you can justify one of the 2 pairs of Cole Haans. They're pretty different from the Uggs. Which one would work better for you?

I'd say YES YOU NEEEEDDD them . But of course shoes are a weak point for me. I'd say go for the blue soled ones as Brilliant Blue is on the forcast for this spring (2014) .The highlighter yellow might be a bit less on trend in the long term.

If they fill a need then yes! Just love the ones with the yellow. Sometimes you just have to try them on with your stuff to see if you "feel" them. I get caught up in shoes easy and have bought them just because they are pretty but now I try to make sure, like you said, that I am really going to wear them.
