I just ordered a high-low-hem sweater from Anthro. This is my first time trying something like this. The high part in front is kind of a curved shape, like many high-low sweaters have, where the highest part is in the middle of the curve.

I felt like I looked really dumpy in the sweater, although the rest of it (shoulders, etc.) seemed to be the proper fit. Does anyone else have this problem with these types of sweaters? I'm wondering if it's my body type (figure 8, with the high shelf hip) or if it's just the cut of this particular sweater.

Sorry, no camera so can't post pics. I will say that the model has her arm up in the photo, which means that the hem is falling higher than it does when you're just standing regular.
