Stylefan….sounds like the perfect project. If it’s cotton, the hardest thing will be deciding what colour! The rit web site has all kinds of useful info, and there are lots of YouTube videos. And there is our resident Expert dyer, Brooklyn who has amazing knowledge.
But beware…today I bought a stainless steel stockpot from Canadian Tire…not for lobster cooking, but synthetic materials require a constant heat source during the dying process. So I picked up this pot…just in case. Tonight at dinner, I flipped over the placemat and noticed it was 100% cotton….I may need an intervention.
