Thanks for all your suggestions on my hair, makeup, and outfit for the 70s disco dinner/dance/auction I went to last night. It was a blast! We had fun grooving to Abba, Village People, Parliament, Bee Gees, and other classics. My feet lasted for the 5 hours we were there -- no blisters, yay.

I decided to go with the "disco" aspect of the theme -- shiny and blingy:

But I should let you in on the big news -- my husband and I won a live auction package to go to (((insert drum roll))) -- South Africa! 6 day/night African safari package for two. I'm still in shock. Africa has always been on my list of places to visit before I die, and I will actually be doing so within the next 2 years!
