Had dinner last night with my grandson-l at the Cliff House. He's in town from Chicago and hadn't been there. We ate at the Sutro rather than the Bistro. Food was great, much better than we remembered from the last time we ate there a couple of years ago. Service fantastic too and we got a window seat, sunshine and sunset for our guest.
He said he'd eaten at a fabulous vegan place--Greene's--so there is another recommendation. I don't remember ever having a less than great meal in SF.
