Did you get lingerie at NAS? Any recommendations?

I purchased some tried-and-true favorites like the Natori Contour bra 136001 (pic 1) as well as some new models. Does anyone have any experience with the bras in pics 2, 3 and 4?

I did not have good luck with DKNY underwear this time, I tried two different models and neither worked for me. I thought of posting pictures and links of these items that I wouldn't recommend, but fear that might be against YLF policies.

I bought this http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ch.....ra/3035131 in black and cappuccino. That is my go-to bra (good for full-busted figures) and I rarely find it on sale. I bought one at last year's NAS and figured I should stock up again this year since I have not seen them on sale at all since last NAS.

The only downside to this bra is that it is not smooth so the lacy texture shows under silk shirts.

I haven't tried any of those, but have had good luck with Natori in general. I bought this Wacoal a few months ago not on sale, and will go back now for more.

I got both Chantelle bras with matching undies. Got a slew of low rise Hanky Panky's, but only in solid didn't like the patterns.

I love Felina's as well. I plan to get the Chantelle seamed full coverage bra in Cappuccino if it's still around in my size by the time I make it to the store!

I got one of the Chantelle bras but exchanged it for the Modern Lights and the Josie bra. The fit in my usual size was just a little too big, while the size down was too small.

How does the Wacoal Embrace Lace bra run? Like Natoris/Calvin Klein/DKNY or bigger? It looks like a beautiful bra and that's a great price.

Seriously you can't go wrong with NAS lingerie; they don't put the duds on sale, they feature the good merchandise.

Yes! That Chantelle Rive Gauche bra has been my go-to bra for the past several years, so I stocked up in both colors.
I picked up some Shimera boyshort undies in very fun, bright colors.
And I stocked up on my Commando tights: the black opaque hose that I wore all through winter, a double net pair in nude, and my favorite pair of dotty tights.

I've found the Wacoal Embrace Lace to be sized comparably to the Natoris or Calvin Kleins that I have. I take the same size in them all, anyway.

Sorry I keep bumping this thread girls, but the girls need attention too. And our underpinnings matter, don't they?

Thank you Lynne! I'm going to try the Wacoal Embrace Lace bra. Kari and others, I never tried the Shimera boyshorts. My fear is they would feel constricting. How would you rate them? Are they amazing and worth a try?

ETA -- love the Commando dotty tights Kari!

I only wear Wacoal bras now, having tried every other brand out there. They're high quality, pretty, and fit so well. Can't recommend the brand enough. I am also the same size in Wacoal as in Calvin Klein and DKNY.

I got the Shimera seamless hipster which I'm currently wearing. It's comfy and stretchy, although not as breathable as the cotton undies I usually wear (it's also 80 something degrees today so that doesn't help). I have a short rise so their "hipster" actually comes up to my waist.

I have the Calvin Klein bra and love it, but I have kind of a widely spaced chest. I'm not sure how it will fit others.

I stocked up on Hanky Panky thongs (the only ones I wear any more) and this Chantelle bra in nude. Which, if anyone is interested in, runs a full cup size small.

I'm still looking at the Chanelle 'Rive Gauche' since YLF hooked me on seamed bras:)

I had to go 1 cup size up in it though.
I got Shimera boyshorts last two years but I don't find them working well for me: they keep riding up. Maybe because I have full thighs?

I'm trying the Shimera boyshorts, but now I'm worrying because I have full thighs. . .I also got La Mystere's Dream Tisha bra with the lace on top. The classic Dream Tisha fits me a bit better because it isn't cut so high under the arm, so I really need to decide whether I will K/R. I have decided that I need three back hooks for support and to reduce the back fat bulge, and finding three hook bras is a challenge. . .

I was introduced to Natori bras through last year's NAS, and it's become my go-to brand. This year, I ordered the Feathers style and the matching underwear. Haven't received them yet, but will report when I do.

Thanks for the Felina recommendation. I love my Felina camis, and I'm a big fan of boy shorts, so I think I'll give these a try.

I'm a huge Wacoal bra fan - but have not ever tried the one that is currently on sale. Since I was introduced to the Wacoal brand about 5 - 6 years ago I have never bought any other kind of bra.

If I WAS shopping the NAS I would definitely be stocking up on both the low and high-rise Hanky Pankys - as well as the Felina boyshorts - love them both!

Another loyal Wacoal bra fan. If you have a larger cup size, their Awareness 85567 bra is a wonder of engineering: so comfortable, supportive and pretty - especially compared to most other heavy duty bras.

After making a few dismal attempts at bra shopping a few weeks ago, I just took some notes here and will reinvigorate my efforts with these bra recommendations. I've always been a Wacoal fan and have the Awareness bra without the underwire, but I'm going to check out the Chantelle Rive Gauche mentioned above as well as a few from Wacoal. Jenava, I hadn't heard of Felina before and when I went to their site, I fell in love with a few, including the Marielle. Very pretty. Kari, thanks for your Commando list! I own the two-tone net and now want to purchase the black opaque tights you mentioned, because they will be wonderful for later this year. Great list!

How does the sizing run on the Commando tights? I'm taller than the small size limit (5'8") but my weight is at the low end for the mediums (125).

BTW, if anyone is looking to buy Rive Gauche bra, I suggest ordering some at one band size down from your normal size. I usually buy 34D and have at least one Rive Gauche bra in that size so I confidently ordered the same size. I was surprised to find that I had to use the tightest hook set to close it, which is not how a new bra is supposed to fit. I think I am going to return mine and perhaps try 32D and 32DD.
