Did some last minute shopping!

I'm leaving tomorrow and still have to pack today. On my way home I went to have a quick look for a simple black belt because I felt like I needed one for the travel capsule. And look what also went home with me! Some colored bottoms... These are skinnies I sized up in. They have 2% stretch, so more than Angie recommended, but I think they look fine. Not sure they have the intended effect, but what does that matter when I'm actually comfortable in them? They have the drop crotch and I definitely need a belt with them, but the rearview is still flattering, probably because these weren't cut for a curvier figure in the first place. I still have to hem them though, I just folded them in. They don't really look slouchy in the pictures, but I think they have a relaxed look IRL. I also like the darker color, it seems not so loud in comparison with my other colored skinnies. I thought it would be great to take some colored bottoms with me, so that I have a way to wear long pants with the denim jacket instead of the more gear one.

What do you think? Good buy?

Thanks Texstyle! They really are comfortable. And maybe it's all in my mind, but I feel like I look a lot slimmer in these. I don't think I will feel self-conscious in them.

Thanks Ruth! Yes, I'm keeping these. They've been already hemmed and washed and they are in the bathroom on the radiator now, so that I can pack them tomorrow.

LOVE these on you, and I think they are very flattering. I like the way you sized up in these like Angie sized up in the skinnies in a recent blog post. I am not fond of skinnies that completely hug the leg like tights. These were a great buy. Enjoy your trip!
