I can't remember if I posted this. I was really excited when the teachers chose to go outside of the costume books, and use this American Apparel dress for the Lyrical class (in tan).

But it's been such a hassle having to order on our own! First, I ordered her a small and a medium- which is what she usually wears in juniors, since I know that AA runs small. The medium we couldn't even get zipped up- it got stuck right at her ribcage! Then I ordered a large and an XL. The XL came, and fits her around, but is long through the bodice. The large is on it's way. I sure hope it fits! I also still have the three other sizes- I'm hoping that someone from class still needs one and can buy directly from me so that I don't have to pay to ship them back. Honestly though, if my 12 year old needs an XL I don't know what some of the older/bigger girls are going to do because she is not the biggest kid in the class.
