I'm wondering whether they are similar in fabrication and fit to the brocade ones from last year. Those are pretty magical on me, not very stretchy and more like a twill than denim so they look dressier. They also make my legs look a million miles long.

If these are the same fabric and style, I could see them as a slim black pants alternative as long as they are not too obviously denimy. How black is the black? Like rich black or more denimy black? I am also considering the KUT pontes from yesterday's Angie picks but they seem like they might be too skintight.
