Did anyone ever try Bootights?

I remember we discussed these here a while ago, and the general consensus was that it's more versatile (and cheaper) to just wear separate tights (or footless tights) and a pair of regular socks.

HOWEVER, I just noticed that they have fishnet styles. Now I have been looking in vain for footless fishnets for ages. I can't wear footed ones because I can't stand any texture under my feet (feels like standing on a cheese grater!). These might be a good option but they are pricey, so I'm wondering if anyone here has actually worn bootights (doesn't have to be the fishnet styles, I'm just interested in general fit, durability, things like that.)

I haven't tried these but I shaw them the other day at a store. Alternately, if you are bothered by the texture under your feet (like me!), you could wear ballet flat socks under normal fishnets and that would avoid this problem, I have done this and it feels good to me.

I haven't, but it seems like good idea. In the past I've worn ankle socks under my fishnets if I knew I foot wouldn't be seen so I didn't have to deal with the texture on my toes.

You guys are brilliant! Socks UNDER the tights. Why did I never think of that????

Going to try the socks under tights for sure. I still think the Bootights are too expensive (because, heck, even the oroblu fishnets are only $19.50 as compared to $30+ for bootights.)

Fellow cheese grater-hater here, signing on for a debt of gratitude to Niefern! I've never bought fishnets precisely for this reason.

I wear socks under tights all the time for warmth and because it preserves the tights longer from getting wear holes. As long as you don't have to take your boots off somewhere and reveal lumpy ankles, it's all good!

Actually, I find I am wearing ballet flat socks under all hose and tights lately, because it feels nicer, warmer and as Akaskagirl says, it preserves the tights longer - otherwise I get holes in the toe area very quickly and this annoys me terribly.
