So... I’ve given up hope finding an ultra long puffer at brick and mortar. I’ve seen this coat several times searching... they are ‘marketplace sellers.’ Do they look dicey to you? They look dicey to me... but I did like the non-black colour...

Whoa, that is a good looking puffy. Love the hood, balances it all out and good colour.

Hmm, I don't know ... if your spidey sense is tingling, then I say trust it. BUT if you love the coat and it wouldn't kill your budget if it all went sideways, then it might be worth a gamble ...?

Here it is again on Amazon for a ridiculous low price and bad reviews... but people did actually seem to get the coat, so there’s that...

Sigh. I suppose Amazon Prime will be the only way to go, probably the safest bet. I had to buy every single Xmas gift thru Prime this year. Could not get, for example, a white toaster any other way. Seems to me, tho, I should be able to walk into Walmart and buy a white toaster.

I wouldn’t bother. I ordered something from a similar type of seller a while back and, while I did receive my order, it bore scant resemblance to the item I saw advertised. The fabric was shoddy, the finishing completely different from what was shown on the model, and...this was the kicker...based on the cut, I’m fairly certain they never even tried it on a fit model. If they did, she had concave breasts and five-foot long arms that were attached somewhere near her waistline.

Moose knuckles actually has super long puffers that look like sleeping bags. Shapeless without waist cinching. There may be shaped one but not ankle grazing for shorties that come in colors

From the looks of it, I would say this puffer is not of great quality and you will be let down upon receiving it. The puffer squares are too large and the sewing seems too loose. Also, it looks like the puff is a bit flat, like the material inside wouldn't be very insulating or would rapidly deflate.

My son wore a medium quality puffer over and ovr for three years until he started calling it "the tarp". Just to give you an idea that puff quality is important in the long run, and that a bad one can quickly become very bad.

I've only bought from Prime sellers, and go by the reviews; if they're uniformly bad, skip it. That said, there are some pretty great sellers out there. And Amazon provides great coverage if you're not happy with it, so there's little to lose.

Reviews were saying too small and the fur collar is thin and not connected to the coat... altho you can tell that from the pics about the collar... must be from China... a Chinese XL is like a size 0, lol.
