So, I spent about 6 hours at Fashion Weekend today. I went to the Simply You ( my favourite and mostly my only fashion magazine, one that is not mean!) Style Masterclass and checked every store at the Designer Garage Sale. I tried on 2 pairs flat shoes which were not comfy. I saw beautiful sequinned items and all your advice was ringing in my head. In the end I only bought one thing! This is a record low number for this sale. But then last year, of the 3 things I bought, one has been worn 11 times, one 8 times, and one that I regard as a fail only 4 times ( forcing myself, even though sunk cost and all that). So I chose something that can be worn to work all summer I hope. Dark floral. I did hope to get something with yellow in that might go with my little worn yellow loafers from 2013. The loafers are flat but not very comfy, they have been deliberately stretched at the back since last worn which I hope will help. The top is shorter than a tunic but covers my dodgy regions and has a cool back drawstring which pulls it in and makes it more flattering. Pic 1 front, pic 2 back, pic 3 with loafers, pics 4-5 various earrings to go with. And pic 6, thinking of mixing florals with the bomber? Pics 7 and 8, tan or orange sandals are an option? I have black, navy and white cropped pants, and I have black slightly cropped jeans. Hope you approve!- I can't return.
