What was that? Did I hear my name? Ceit, you crack me up. How did you remember that? Silver. I bet.
Rae, I've got three pairs. First (two) pairs were an attempt to find the right shoe. I ordered a pewter snakeskin wedge. 3" heel. The first pair was waaaay to big, even though it was supposed to be my normal size and the toe was very round and cut very high. I wrote them and they sent along a second pair with a (special order) almond toe that was to be cut lower. Too small and way too low cut because the almond toe is cut lower than the round. Go figure. Sent both back at one time and got a credit for a future order for my postage ($35). Got replacement pair, which were still a little small. Loved them, though. Then I noticed that the snakeskin was cracked or undyed in an area on the side of the toe. They weren't sure whether it was a defect or the result of them stretching so they suggested that I try another leather that would be less delicate. They remade them in the new leather (my pointy toe silver wedges) and they have been great.
They didn't ask me to send the (probably) defective ones back, which was nice. So basically, I got two shoes for the price of one. Customer service was phenomenal throughout the whole thing. Quality is good. Not amazing, but good and seems a fair trade-off for getting to design your own. I cannot say enough, though, about how great they were about trying to fit them correctly. Mine are very comfortable.
I used my mailing back credit to order a pair of d'orsay flats. I ordered them in silver, thinking I was ordering them in pewter. I'm not really sure what to do with them. It was my mistake, but they seem very very bright. I'm trying to decide whether to have them remade or not. The great thing is that they understand that and will remake them without any complaints at all. I just have to decide if it is worth the postage to send them back.
D.: I can't wait to see your shoes! They look super cute!
