J Crew is my default on-line store because I get a good fit in their clothes. They have such frequent sales and free shipping offers to Canada that I don't find their clothes much pricier than most of the B&M stores in my area. Returns are easy, although I do have to pay a few dollars for the return shipping. In addition, J Crew now pays any duties that might be assessed if something is shipped across the border. Personally, I love the fluid, thin knit on their Tippi merino sweaters because I wear them next to my skin, often layered under jackets. I can wash them on delicate machine cycle/flat dry and have found they stand up to this treatment beautifully. Just goes to show that different things work for different people, I guess.
