Joyce, Rachy, thank you. I think #1 seems dressier because it's tencel and a little drapier.
Elizabeth, Sterling, thanks. I think I like #3 best, too.
Liz thanks. I wish I had thought of that at the time.
Angie, thanks! That's the one I prefer, too.
Smittie, thank you. The skirts are all a-lines because if I had ordered real straight skirts, the waists would be too big.
Glory, thank you!
Jenni, I'm not sure about the jacket, but #3 would work best probably, because it's the straightest. I should have put pictures of the skirts with the jacket.
Deb, #1's belt is completely removable. So I could untuck with all of them.
Donna, that's a good idea. I like #3 best. I liked #1 in theory, but I don't think it looks that great on me.
Joy, I'm not a huge fan of the frayed or released hem trend. I definitely need to sit in these!! Thanks for reminding me. Re naughty dogs, I just noticed Bob Barker is looking up my skirt!
Emily, I do half tuck, and probably would do that with any of the skirts.
Diana, good eye! #1 is tencel, not denim. #2 is too long, I agree, but the buttons are also bright gold, like on an admiral's coat. I'd have to do something about that.
Catty, very nice of you to ignore my waist, and for noticing "the boys".
Mirjana, thank you. I will try them with different tops, untucked, etc.
Brooklyn, thank you. I think I have some shorter summery tops similar to the Uniqlo ones. That's actually how I thought I would wear the skirt, as a cooler alternative to long pants in summer. A skirt always seems dressier to me for some reason.
