Denim Skinnies Found Online Easier than I Thought

I've been wanting to replace my J. Brand 811 skinny jeans in the color Pure, but in the meantime I got diverted and was looking for some other skinny jeans to replace my Democracy jeans I've had for a few years and which I still love and wear. They are really jeggings but look like super skinnies on me.

Well, I found a pair of well-discounted AG Farrah High Rise Crop Skinny Jeans and Democracy Absolution Jeggings and bought both. I found these online at Nordstrom Rack and got the sizes right.

One series of photos is not styled and I don't have my makeup on as it's been a busy few weeks with my Dad in the hospital.

The AG jeans are so soft and I know they will become a steady favorite like my old J. Brand 811's. If you have any other Premium Jeans favorites, please let me know. Of course, it does depend on body type and fit and, for me, there's a certain "feel" about a "favorite" pair that makes me keep returning to them.

I like AG too. Certain fits is theirs work for me. Have you ever tried Paige? It seems to me some of the slimmer styles might work for you. COH may be good too.

I had a pair of Democracy jeggings from around the time I first discovered YLF and I wore them a lot for a few years with tall boots. But in the last few years, since I've acquired other skinnies that are not quite so legging-tight and are easier to wear with booties, I gave the jeggings away. But the Democracy seemed to fit me well -- perhaps I should try them again when I see them in the Rack!

These look great on you. I had never heard of the Democracy but will look up. In general CoH is my favorite but I have also had luck with AG and J Brand.

AG seems to work well for me. I've also worn Paige and I just got a pair of CoH during NAS, though they weren't on sale. I don't think I've seen Democracy before. You wear them well!

This is interesting to read and the pictures help a lot---thanks, Vicki! I've not had luck with fit in premium jeans: Paige, CoH, Rag & Bone....I've heard about AG and haven't tried them yet, so that may be a future possibility. But in the meantime, I recently tried on a pair of Chico's Girlfriend jeans (skinny fit). They fit like a dream! Since then, I've also tried their Platinum fit (boyfriend), which are also great on me (slim hourglass). So for now, I'm going with the "cheaper" brand. Wear what fits and looks good, eh?
