Denim shirt recommendations?

As per Angie's post this morning, I would really love to get a denim shirt. For you ladies that already have, what brand worked well for you? All recommendations welcome!

I have some from Target but I am not thrilled with them. They are workable for now. I would be open to a better one. The Levi's ones are amazing but they are a bad fit for petite apples.

Mine is from BR last year. I noticed they have a new one this year, similar style but the buttons have changed. I took my regular size in the shirt.

I hear ya Rita - I do find any button up type of shirt difficult to fit right on my frame.

I wear blue chambray shirts instead of denim because they tend to be lighter weight and therefore cooler, so I can wear them further into spring/summer. I really like some of the chambray shirts at J. Crew right now. I have the short-sleeved one (needed to size down one size, though):

Shannon, I was browsing through Old Navy's Canadian site, and stumbled onto this lovely Western all-cotton chambray shirt: http://oldnavy.gapcanada.ca/br.....pid=105427

Price is right, on sale at $17.00 - and a variety of sizes available. I haven't tried them yet, but it might be worth checking out.

I'm busty, so I'd love to find a denim or chambray shirt that had no chest pockets, one chest pocket if need be or inconspicuous pockets. I ordinarily avoid them completely, but this looks like a design that automatically comes with pockets.

My ten year old son has a chambray shirt from the Gap that I covet. The fabric is a perfect color, a nice, crisp but not stiff texture, and it comes out of the dryer looking smooth and perfect without a lick of ironing. I keep meaning to go in there to see if they still have it in a larger size so I can have my own. Angie's post this morning rekindled the desire.

I guess that does't work for anyone who's busty. But if you're not, boys' shirts are always worth checking out for great prices and typically MUCH better quality than women's. Sigh for the inequity of it (and the inequity of me still fitting into boys' shirts at my age).

Mine is from Banana Republic so probably the same as Lisa's - not sure if it is denim or chambray but I consider it denim. I got it for about $15 on sale last August - I think it may have started out at $60 price tag. Here's a old picture of the shirt.
