I had to share this with you because you can understand my dilema here and give me the best advice.
I always had a denim blazer in my wardrobe, the last one I had for more than 10 years in it started showing signs of wear. It had a strech and magical cut that fit me accros different sizes and survived many editings. But eventually lining has ripped and it faded in places, especially on elbows. I started looking for replacement without luck. But then recently I stumbled on a classic cut denim blazer in uniform dark wash with subtle lurex shine. It was last item available, in my size and on deep discount from 500EUROS to less then 100. I just had to have it. But then after all the talk on the forum about the paintsuits, it occurred to me that this blazer may have somewhere in the world its matching pants. Blazer was from italina brand Dondup which I was not familiar with, but remembered seeing it on yoox, so this is where I first checked. And I could not believe my luck when I found them - also last pair available, in my size and on sale. I ordered them immediately and they arrived today. Well, here comes my dilemma. Pants fit me nicely everywhere except at the waist. It will require substantial tailoring at the back, so much that the back pockets would meet in the middle. It will be nice to have the whole pantsuit, especially after it felt like ment to be. But is this type of tailoring OK regarding the back pockets?
