Denim Jacket Quest

All of us have been looking for fab denim jackets, haven't we? Angie has mentioned several times about a Gap denim jacket that works well in a nice wash, but I have not been able to find it online or in a store. Is it too early in the season? Too late? Seems as though Gap would carry denim jackets year-round. Ideas?

After weeks of looking, I found a classic dark denim jean jacket at the Gap in late August/first wk of Sept. They had just gotten them in. You might ask if they are getting more. The classic jean jacket seems like your style, especially with collar popped as Angie suggests.

I have a classic denim jacket from the Gap, but I bought it last year. I just wore it this week so I will try and post a picture. I think that would be a standard item that they carry. You could try contacting customer service to see if they still carry it. Other places I can think of that have it would maybe be Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft or Banana Republic?

I purchased a traditional looking (dark wash) denim jacket at Ross (almost identical to the Gap one). It's from NYandCo. If you have a Ross, it wouldn't hurt to check. It's very structured and simple.
If you like the blazer idea, try Express. Their 3/4 sleeve length denim jacket is on sale.
