Delete a find?

I don't see the option to delete a find.

Also, I was curious if YLF gets compensated if purchases are made from using the find links, even if they are finds collected from forum members and not just Angie?

If you don't want a find in your collection anymore you can just click the heart and it will "uncollect".

We can't offer the option to completely delete a find from the system because then it would be removed from anyone else who collected it.

Regarding compensation, yes, it is possible that YLF will be compensated when you click a link on a find and then subsequently make a purchase.

Well, the reason I ask is that I added my dress find after I followed a link from another blog site. Does that mean if a Fabber clicked on the find and subsequently bought the dress, the other blogger would get compensated instead of YLF?

In theory: If someone follows a link that originates on YLF, then YLF will be compensated if that merchant has an affiliate program. If they follow a link from the other blogger's site, then that blogger will be compensated if they are using an affiliate program.

In practice: There are lots of complications and there is very little we can do to confirm that the right things are happening on the merchant end.

But please don't worry about that. Use YLF and other sites in whatever way works best for you. Above all, we want people to have a good experience.

Well, I will try to be more careful when adding finds in the future. Thanks for understanding, Greg. You, Angie, and Inge have made YLF a very FUN experience and I can't ever thank y'all enough for all your hard and reliable work!
