Hi all, we’ve been dressing up again. Although we haven’t actually joined the Art Deco society my friend saw this event on Facebook and we were allowed to go without being members. It was billed as A Red Carpet Affair, had a Big Band, cash bar, buffet dinner. As well as our best friends who had seen it, we persuaded another couple, friends of ours, to go along. So 6 of us, and 2 other really nice couples who turned out to also live near us all shared our table of 10.
Yay for getting to wear my altered tulle skirt for a second time since making it smaller for $70 (original cost in 2010 I think only about $40 in an outlet sale). Unfortunately I failed to pull the lining down for the first photos but realised later. So showing a bit of leg under the tulle
