Decisions, Decisions!!! Keep Dresses or Not?? (Pic heavy)

Hi all. So I decided to try on some of my dresses to see if they fit well. These are 16 out of the 30+ something dresses that I can't keep track of. The one's I may get rid of are: 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 ,8, 9 and 16. Let me know what you think.

1. Tucker for Target dress - the dress runs big but very comfy.
2. My oldest dress yet running on 10 years - might be a little short but still fits perfectly.
3. Ann Taylor black shirt dress - it's a classic so will keep.
4. Loft paisley dress - good for Fall/Winter and wore it to my vintage bike ride.
5. Express dress - umm got it on sale last winter and haven't worn it yet. Bad me!!
6. ECI dress - it feels great on but might be too long. Should I alter?
7. Loft dress from Ebay - chest area too big.
8. Loft white dress Ebay - size 2 and huge in the chest area.
9. Loft sundress Ebay (got it brand new with tags for 4.99 + $3 shipping )
10 and 11. Anthro dress - I love this dress but I can't seem to fill out the chest and I don't like the yellow part so I folded it.
12. Anthro - keeping
13 and 14. Yellow dress with big dots - keeping.
15. Loft blue dress - ?? Not sure
16. Loft fuschia pink dress - slight big in the chest area
17. Anthro polka dot dress - SO KEEPING!!
18. Finally, my bicycle dress from Anthropologie. I remember wanting this dress so badly and I finally found one that was my size. This dress will stay with me for a while.

What a great effort to take all of these pics! I vote keep #1. Most likely I would get rid of #4, 7, 8 and 16 for sure. The others you are thinking over could go either way, depending on their role, if you have something similar etc.

Sigh, I love dresses!

Okay, if you must purge. . . I don't find the itsy-bitsy straps with more bare chest as flattering as some of the other looks, so I would toss 7, 9, and 10. To my eyes, the print of 6 overwhelms you. The styles of 15 and 16 seem a bit old-fashioned for you.

I love the sassiness of 2, 17, and 12.

You have an amazing dress collection and everything is cute. But since you are in purge mode...

The ones I feel aren't completely "you" or quite fab enough:
#4, 15 and 16. #15 looks too short and 16 too conservative. I was also going to add #8 to this list but realize it just needs some accessorizing.

I think I would prefer #6 with a different belt. I like the length. It just needs a black or blue belt to break up the great expanse of print.

I will buy the Tucker dress from you if you want to get rid of it. I assume it's a poly fabric. I wear a size XS-S in Target, S-M in real Tucker. Typically size 4 otherwise. I would have to wear it as a tunic, I can't get away with short dresses any more.

I would definitely keep #1 and #5 and I'd probably get rid of 6,7, 8, and 16. I'd probably keep #4 too, I like the vintage vibe, and #9 seems like it would be good for those terribly hot, sticky days.

PS - #12 is my favorite of the bunch.

I need to look again when I have more time but for now - please please please don't get rid of #5 - you look amazing in it!!!

WOw you do have a lot and some good ones and not all the same. What an effort to try them all on and photo.

On the ones that are too big are you willing to alter them to fit? If not - sell/consign.
I like 1, 3, 5, 12, 17, 18. I would shorten 6 and then I'd love it on you.

2,6,8, and 9 are the only ones I'm not crazy about. The white dress is lovely but the chest looks too big. All of the others are gorgeous!

OH my word, what a darling collection of dresses.

The only ones I would let go of are: 4, 6, and 13. The rest are keepers!

Since we had half a day at work I thought I'd make some useful time taking photos of my dresses and post here. Plus these photos will come in handy on Ebay should I decide to sell them.

Thanks so much for your input. I've made some decisions.

So far I'm planning to get rid of 7,8, 9,10, 15 and 16.
I'm still thinking about 2, 4, 5, 6,
I'm keeping: 1, 3, 12, 13, 17, 18 - so much for purging huh??

p.s. - more dresses to come but not today.

Wait, there's more? Wow! You DO have a great dress collection!

ETA: Yes, I obviously do not skim very well. LOL

My super-duper faves are 1, 3, 5, 17, and 18. Why is 5 on the possible chopping block :)? It looks really gorgeous on you and seems to work with your style really well. But, there is some reason why you haven't worn it yet...is it uncomfortable or something? I can see why you were over the moon about the bicycle dress--it's my fave on you! So awesome!

I vote to keep 3, 5, and 18 for SURE. 4 and 17 are close seconds. The others? Up to you, but compared to these 5, they are not in the same ballpark.

You look gorgeous in those 5!!! I LOVE #18. So glad you hunted for it.

Chiming in late, but I think your instincts are good on which ones to keep.

I like 6 on you, but if you decide to get rid of it....hmm, I wonder if it would fit me? I have a gajillion dresses in every shade of blue but almost no red.
