So, my newish gold suede booties ripped, yes ripped, across the top of one boot. No idea how it happened. They were fine when I left home, but when I looked down at my feet mid morning, there was the rip!
So, I need to replace them. They bookend my hair and they lengthen the leg line in my straw and caramel colored dress pants.
Booties are a bit out of season, but there were two shoes that caught my eye. One being practical, and the other so beautiful I kept going back to it and thinking about it over and over. Both are expensive, but I have proven to myself I wear this color footwear a lot. A sling back is probably not very practical for my climate. And it has an unusual shaped heel. And the pointed toe is very pronounced and might date easily. And yet, I keep going back to look at it and keep thinking about. To be or not to be practical . . .
