Since I was having a difficult time finding just the right long, button front camel cardigan and I decided that I want to add more funky layering pieces, I did a pivot and ordered this mustard embroidered duster instead.

I kind of love it, and I think I will use it in much the same way I would a long cardi (over dresses and with jeans and tees or simple shirts). The fabric is pretty lightweight, so I will probably get a lot of use from this. Gudrun Sjoden is having a big clearance sale. This is also where Jenn got that gorgeous long black and white vest, so if you like that sort of thing give it a look.

I think these would also work well together. The reviews for these booties recommend sizing up. I should have listened because I had to exchange for a size up. These are not as comfortable as I'd hoped. I haven't conditioned the leather yet, but it isn't very soft. They are narrow through the toebox (although that is where my feet are wide), and there isn't much arch support. They're comfy enough that I am keeping them, but I couldn't walk all day in them.
I'm happy with my two purchases, even though it's not quite what I expected to get. The booties have already gotten some wear, and I can't wait to wear the robe.
