just a thought that crossed my mind, Meredith. Wouldn't a denim pencil be great too?. That could be like an upside down outfit of what you are wearing here. I mean, denim skirt reads casual and a dressier top like a blouse, crisp button-down or blazer. Or you could copy all your lovely jeans outfits, but insert the denim skirt instead.

I denim pencil skirt is at top of my wish list. I'd like to apply the dressier pencil (which I love!) to MOTG occations and I think the denim fabric would be the transitional clue

I think I'll play dress up and see how the pencil skirt looks with any of my faux leather jackets and tights and boots. I need some cute booties if anyone has ideas. I need them to not have skyscraper heels either!

I love this outfit Meredith, such a great mix of casual and dressy (my favorite!). Those black sandals are PERFECT with it. I also like your idea for fall

Another vote for GREAT outfit. I've never dressed down my Halogen seamed skirts either, but it makes sense. Nicely done.

Thanks for the nice words. I am just itching to find a few more skirts that I can dress up or down. This is just uncharted waters for me but I am enjoying it with all the encouragement I have been receiving.
