Debut of the Lucky Penny sparkle boots

Felt motivated/goaded into working with the sparkle boots.

1-3 is a dress tryout: a gray knit dress I got last year at consignment store as an aspirational dress-type I wish I could find in warm sweater materials—most are too sheath-like for me. This one is still a bit short. Shown with gray cable tights and Lucky Penny boots. I need different belts with covered buckles so I can control the amount of shine/interest, but I think the AT reptile belt works. Or do you prefer the black belt with a necklace? (pic 3)

4-5 is AT trouser, burgundy knit top, brown belt to give a tonal look. Both outfits play on the fact that the boots have brown components that can shift them to calmer tones and less drama. That was one of the features I liked about them. Shown with my first ever leather jacket, chocolate brown from JJ.

I tried these on early this a.m. , and since the trouser outfit was second, I thought, what the heck, I’m dressed, and went out the door!

I like the first 2 photos with belt & no necklace but either work. This silhouette is fab on you, very stylish imo Love #5 too but would prefer a shorter necklace or scarf. Keep wearing the boots

Elizabeth P, I think these are pewter. Don't mean to sound daft, but I ordered them from Anthro, who did not carry all colors. They are a silvery metallic with a brown underlayer. I did see some photos in which pewter looked more cool- gray than these, and some that look like mine. I think the gold is really gold- er, though.

So glad these got out and about! I think the boots are a terrific way of modernizing the dress --- really fab. They look just as amazing with the trousers!

I prefer the first look without the necklace. The necklace with the trousers is perfect!

alaskagirl, they are not fitted at the leg; they are straight-up and have a short-cowboy-boot vibe, I think.

What I noticed when wearing: my pants have a tendency to hang up on them sometimes and not fall back over them when I get up to walk. That surprised me, because these trousers, while not flares or "wide leg", are not what's now called "straight", either.

When looking at other boots this fall, I began to take close note of the pant-boot interaction and returned some for just that reason. For future purchases I see that I will need a narrower or more tapered shaft even for boots with pants. Or a shootie, which does not have that problem.
