cjh, thanks for the note, and for opening up the conversation. I fully understand the need to emote about the situation in the US, and the rest of the world. It's very stressful.
As far as this thread goes - and other threads in the YLF community:
PLEASE do not discuss politics on YLF. The topic is too divisive, and off limits. It will become extremely unpleasant. It's extra stressful for me to moderate these threads.
That said, I empathize greatly with the need to talk about it and do something. I've found other avenues to do just that, which are helping. Feel free to privately DM each other too.
In the meantime, I much appreciate your co-operation and help. I am committed to keeping my chin up for this community. Keeping it safe, calm, and un-stressful is part of the appeal. Onward we go.
