Today's outfit:
Black ribbed "corduroy" leggings, navy/black plaid tunic, black cardi, cognac ankle boots, silver marcasite hoops, animal brooch, specs (I normally wear contacts but my eyes felt "sticky" by midmorning! Either I'm working too hard, need a fresh pair of contacts, or -- probably -- both.)
Why it's me:
-Long over lean silhouette
-Big soft cozy cardi (great for a busy day at work. wrapped in a hug.)
-Cognac footwear
-Beloved creature (oh my gosh, you all, this guy is like a winter boutonniere! I am so charmed.)
This is the sort of outfit that could easily feel too dark to be really "me," but the cognac boots and sparkly brooch and earrings were just enough to stave off that feeling. I was rather pleased with myself for being able to lighten it up in that way!
