Hi Fabbers! I'm finally considering a belated NAS purchase with the intention of wearing with denim midi/maxi skirts especially. Has anyone tried these? I measured my Frye boots and they're 15" - wondering if these may work as well? Looking for input so I can save myself having to do a return. Thanks in advance!
Thanks, Lisa! Shopped my closet a little last night to see what might work with my skirts for fall. They seem to work great with sandals and sneakers but kind of clunky with taller boots. Not sure these would have been a solution after all. Will have to do a forum post at some point for advice!
The color is pretty…a deep brown that blends easily with other colors. Not an easy color to find. I am also looking for brown boots to fit… not an easy task with narrow calves (12 inches) and must have no heel but good traction on ice. I have looked for years. Not easy when one gets older each day. Also one foot is bigger than the other but that is easily fixed most of the time with inserts. The hard part is getting the bigger left foot fitted. Why do shoe salesmen insist on using the right foot?
Good luck on finding a good shade of brown in a comfortable boot. You might shop with a picture of the boots to show the salesperson what color or style you want to find.
I look forward to your forum post. I personally like when a long denim skirt shows some leg with a lower boot versus a knee high, something like these.

Thanks, Joy and Lisa! I have a fitted mid calf boot similar to the ones in the photos that will work for early fall. I like that look too! I'm going to have to do an outfit lab when it cools down a bit here!
