I basically wear many of my usual outfits although I skew a little more sexy sometimes with shoes (especially as I usually don't have to walk a super long way to the restaurant.) I also sometimes wear casual dresses and skirts more, simply because it's an excuse to wear them.
If I'm wearing pants, I aim a bit more for flattering than JFE for the overall silhouette more of the time, and I might be wearing flat boots and bf jeans, but have a neckline that is deeper or wider, or visible shoulders or something.
I still like to have a lot of contrast in my dressing between different items though, so for example this below was my last dinner out outfit -- girly dress, tomboy shoes and jacket, wildcard bag.
Structured easy to clean clutches or cross-bodies are my preferred bag now because I often have a tiny space on a slightly sticky table to set them on or they have to sit on my lap or hang over a chair handle. A white leather soft satchel was no fun in this situation (that awkward moment when my DH set it on the floor and I tried not to overreact lol).
