Dansko styles hang around a while??

After Desmo April so kindly pointed me toward the Dansko Veda sneakers, I got to peeking around and saw the Nori in plum. Bingo - exactly what is on my wish list . . . for next November LOL. But I also saw the Ryders that Una has said she's been wearing for ages. So I'm hoping that means the Nori's will still be sitting there patiently awaiting my shopping schedule and budget to catch up to them? http://www.zappos.com/dansko-nori-plum-kid-suede

i have no idea but those noris are really cute! I've never been a fan of danskos before.

I saw those in a catalog I just got. Here where I live Danskos are like Twinkies - they cannot be destroyed. They live on forever and are always "in fashion" because they are never "in fashion" - KWIM? Get 'em!

I don't know how long certain styles hang around, but those are adorable! I'm tempted to add those to my wish list.

Those are on my wish list too. I need to replace my red suede Dansko mary janes, and I want something with more side coverage so I can wear secret socks.

To answer your original question, I am not sure these will be available in a year, at least not in this color. One can never tell with Danskos (the trendier non-professional clog ones that is), there are some styles like the Ryder that come out every year and others that vanish after one year. It might depend on their popularity. I think the purple suede will be a one shot thing though. The ones that stick around tend to only be in black or brown.

Oops, sorry - then the answer is no for the most part - some styles stick around, but others do not. The Ryders were gone for a while but I think they were popular enough to bring back.

thanks Diana. I am going to go for the Veda's - I mean I have to have something to work in! Perhaps Black Friday they will go on sale on Amazon. The Nori's will just have to wait for now. There is always eBay stalking if they become discontinued
