I think someone here owns these or something similar (Is it you, AJ? Don't you have these in the red crinkle?):

Can anyone share their opinion? (Whether you own them or not!)

Are these red or pinkish? The color is described as 'berry gecko'.

If I'm normally a 6 1/2, would I size up to the nearest whole size, 37?

Yup. They are fab. Have loads of very happy clients in these. Great for a wider foot that needs arch support.

Size up to 37. Sorry, but I can't comment on the colour.

I love them. Tried the patent rust color version after reading San's post on Danskos. They were super comfy. I would have bought them if I didn't already have a similar sandal. I normally wear a 7 (37) but always size up to a 38.

NK, yes, I got these. The color is a red with brown undertones. Hard to describe...not maroon...I guess a rusty red?

I ended up returning mine to Nordies becasue I saw this site had them on sale plus had lots more color options:

Plus if you spend $100, you get free shipping. So I ordered the berry and the brown braided. There is a local store I can return to if I don't like them, but I'm hoping to like both and announce to my hubby that the other pair is an early b-day gift!

I usually wear a size 8 so I ordered the 39 which is the size I tried on at Nordies. I have long toes, so my big toe does come to the edge, but I was afraid the next size up would be too big.

I has my eye on that pair whilst YLF were running the Dansko competition are think they look very versatile and quite fashionable.

My sandal update:

So I got the berry and brown braided delivered. I have narrow ankles so I knew from trying them on at Nordstrom that I needed to have an extra hole added for the ankle strap. Well the brown braided are so cute, but the design has a frame around the hole section. So if I were to add an extra hole, it would be outside the frame area. Boo!

The berry fit fine for the left foot, but not on the right. So I returned both the berry and brown, hoping my local Walking Company would have another berry gecko for me to try. Wrong! They did have a black in the next size up, so now I know that a 40 keeps my toes from touching the edge. So they placed an online order for me to try Toffee Crinkle Patent (which is a lovely shiny bronze color) in a 40.

So my perfect summer sandal hunt continues...
