A while back someone - I think it was Mo, maybe? - mentioned the Dansko Nori bootie on the forum and it caught my radar. I am getting rid of some of my less comfy booties and thought I'd give these a try.

I've never worn Danskos before but heard that they run small, so I sized up. I'm glad that I did. These shoes are super comfortable once they are on, but I would not want to go any smaller. I also am high in the instep and it was a little snug putting them on the first time. There is a small elastic band to give some stretch, but not much. They definitely wouldn't be suited to a wide foot.

The heel height is 3", which is actually above my favorite height limit, but the platform really counterbalances the heel. Due to the way these are shaped, particularly the platform and sole, I'd say they give as much comfort as my comfiest 1.5-2" booties or pumps. I need to give them a trial run out and about, but at home they have been incredibly comfortable and I have high hopes that they will be good for city walking too.

Anyway, I just wanted to mention this in case others were thinking of giving this shoe a try. I'll try to incorporate these in a photographed outfit later, but I got the purple suede pictured and the color is very true to life.
