Janet, planning to use me as the guinea pig, huh? It is ordered, so I will let you know what I think when it arrives. I don't need it until June, but it would be just my luck that they could run out of the style and color I want. I got her a cashmere wrap for a shower last weekend, and Garnet Hill had run out of the blush, so I had to buy the pricier White and Warren one. Thankfully they were having a site-wide sale and also gave me an extra 10% discount for my first purchase.

cheryl, thanks for the real-life review. And the tip about the inside shedding. I expect she will want to use it on the wedding day, so it's good to know I might need to come up with some kind of liner since that isn't a time you want to be bothered with lint!
Sterling, yeah, I thought monogramming would be kind of cute. Given the name change, I considered waiting to give it to her until just before the wedding day, but I expect it will see most use in the summer, so the June shower seems like a good choice, too. The monogram is so unobtrusive, I don't think she'd be uncomfortable using it some before.
Oh, and to anyone else researching tote bags, my other daughter has the Everlane Petra tote and is very happy with it. She will soon be working in a business formal environment and it will fit in well with that attire, and has been appropriate for campus, too.
