What gigi said. As someone who has suffered with foot conditions in the past, no shoes, no matter how cute, are worth pain. I vote give them a go.

They look a lot like these from Anyi Lu:

I think they do look like comfort shoes, but they also have a certain amount of style, a kind of arty Mary Jane.

Depends on your body type, how you style them, when they're for, and where you live. In black suede with matte black tights on lean-leggy too-tall-to-have-become-a-ballerina, maybe social worker?

Otherwise, what Von said.

But then, I'm stuck in these Sanitas because of back issues from old sports injuries. Mine are unabashedly hideous. By comparison, yours could go places.

taupe shoes is my choice

I quite like them but agree that it is probably all in the styling... if you typically dress in an artsy fashion, you could totally pull them off.

I am not tall. I want to be arty, but I am not. I tend toward preppy feminine. But I have a toddler.

What I really want are comfort shoes that look like Pradas That's not asking for the moon or anything!

I think you need to try them and see. You never really know from a photo and it could go either way.

So, comfort shoes that look like Pradas are getting somewhere...are they for work? Can you tolerate a bit of heel? Will you be wearing them covered (in pants) or out like with crops + dresses? I know there are other options out there!

These look NOTHING like Pradas...but I hear they are comfy - I'd wear them... probably more than I should if they're as comfy as normal Danskos.

I have also had really good luck with Clarks - I tried these earlier this season, and they're walkable and roomy. Not too high. They also come in funky leopard.

Mary Jane wise, these look workable.
Or, you could get fancy with it in these flats.
