I agree, removing the hood makes this jacket even more wearable for me. And I took a look at replacement “dual separating parka” zippers and the zipper itself would not be expensive. I may see if I can find one in a color that works for this jacket and ask my tailor to replace it. It shouldn’t cost much and may make it that much more wearable.
I am late to this thread, but followed the comings and goings on the choice. I am so pleased you chose this puffy. The quilting is so carefully designed, and the colour is super on you.
