Custo Barcelona Winter Coat Ordered - Pattern overload Warning!

On a slightly weird note - BEFORE seeing Angie's post - I ordered myself a Custo Barcelona coat this morning (60% off sale online). I have attached a pic below of the coat plus my outfit inspiration on items I think would look good with it.

This type of clothing really appeals to me (I say 'bring on the embellishment'!!). I love Desigual clothing too and Custo has a very similar aesthetic. It is the type of clothing you either love or loathe I think.

I see no particular reason why I should be completed pared down if I'm wearing a coat this over the top. See pic of the back too - it is amaazing...

Happy to hear your opinions - even if it is a bit like 'marmite' for you! LOL

LOVE this! I ogle Custo coats all the time, but I haven't found one that is "me." This one looks very much YOU, and I can't wait to see you model it for us!

I will never be able to wear something like this, I just don't have the life for it but on merits alone, this coat is amazing. I hope it is a tad more fitted on you than on the pinterest.

This is one of those coats I have to admire from afar. I am way to conservative for this but I think it is very pretty.

That's a stunning coat. My thoughts are that it might be best with neutral pants/leggings like the black shown or grey rather than the purple. Maybe the purple is darker than it looks in the photo though, and more of a neutral.

Such a treat for the eyes. I'm only just discovering both Custo Barcelona and Desigual clothing, and I love looking at both labels. True, wearing only one piece at a time can help you appreciate its uniqueness, rather than going full-on embellishment overload. Unless that's your thing, of course. Anyway, really interesting stuff!

Love this. I have a Desigual bag - would like a dress or shirt but heard they run small so want to be in shape to wear! The Cirque du Soleil clothing is also similar to me.

Ha, Vildy, I never thought about it being a 'kiss my ass' coat (but I see the positioning of the lips on the back.....)

I'm hoping the coat runs small as I've ordered a size larger than I normally do - hope it lives up to the pic!

Thanks for the pic Angie - here's hoping it fits me & I can pull off the 'look'.

I hope the weather will be cold enough to wear it here in the UK as the snow & ice has now gone & the sun is out.
