I went through a clog obsession a few years ago! Still love my Dansko professionals, Dansko sandals and Ecco traditional clogs.

Current obsession is still in the realm of footwear: booties. I'm lusting after all sorts of them!

I actually tried on a black pair from Madewell similar to the Ugg ones with a higher heel. Fortunately or unfortunately my arch was too high and I couldn't get my foot in all the way so my heel was hanging over the edge.

I was obsessed with my leather jacket....I got the most perfect one for $50 in a charity shop. I have worn it every day for the last month. Now I'm over it and starting to wear other things. Last year I was obsessed with my duffle coat and wore it every day till someone commented that they had forgotten what I looked like without it.
I am into button down shirts and suit pants and skirts at the moment (for work at least)

I'm obsessed with finding the perfect pair of neautral wedges. Goodness, did I just spell that correctly? Neautral? Hmmmmm. Too lazy to spell check sorry!

You see they just have to be the right height; they can't have ankle straps' they must be *just* the right shade and just the right texture....... I will find them, I will!!! (And with at least 30% discount - my other mantra in order to fulfill my inner discount-a-holic!)

I know I'm repeating myself, but low heeled black riding boots.

Beyond that...I'm on the hunt for woven dressy sleeveless blouses that can be layered. Oh, and don't have ruffles on them. A tall order it seems. I like ruffles, but need something else in my wardrobe too.

I like the clogs Khris. I have trouble walking in open back shoes so I'll be passing on this trend.

Since I'm doing SYC I'm trying not too look too hard. I've made one exception to my SYC committment that makes sense to me. I've been searching for 2 years for the right grey leather knee high riding boots with 13"/14" inch calves. If I find them, especially at a great price, I've given myself permission to buy as I may never find them again and that I'd hate to miss most of the winter without them. So...in answer to your question...the perfect grey boots.

shoes which are completely impractical for my life and weather and wallet.

case in point...4.5 inch booties with curved skinny heel and lug-ish soles

or 4.5 inch platform oxfords with cut=outs.

bluefly graciously informs me that there is only 1 pair left of each shoe and i better "buy now". lol...don't they know i'm on syc.

Sleek, lace-up knee high boots. These are definitely way out of my price range and the calf is way too big, but a girl can dream, right?

RandomThoughts, I actually have boots very similar to that. Mine are a touch lower, though and don't have the medallions (oh, and black). They're very comfy, but not all that practical because mine have a foam sole and thus can only be worn when it's really dry out.
