Curious about two NAS Jackets

I have two jackets in my wish list to try that I don't think I've seen anyone talk about and am just curious if anyone has seen them/tried them on and what they think about quality, fit etc.

I think I would need a SP in the Bernardo and a S (or maybe an XS if it runs big) in the Quilted. I'm patiently waiting for Angie's top picks before I decide which jackets to try but would love some of your input.

These are two great jackets and perfect for a busy mom. I think Mochi may have tried the scuba or maybe just linked to it. I love the bomber and now I really want it too.

I've seen both but have not tried them on. For the Bernardo, you need to think about the high banded neckline. It looks like quality and if between sizes, I would size up...This from eyeballing it though.
The bomber looks like a great jacket, especially for the price. I decided it was veering a bit too sporty for my style. I don't know about sizing though

I've been contemplating the quilted bomber. I didn't see it in my Nordies yesterday. I think I'd probably end up passing on it because it's so short. I don't like feeling the draft at my waist.

Joy - I'm wondering about the banded neckline too. What do you think are the negatives? Neck shortening?

I would definately get and try the bomber!! It would be perfect for the MOTG. As for the leather jacket, it is beautiful, but I would ask yourself if you are okay with the care and maintenance of leather. It can be expensive to clean if you have a little one who is messy

Thanks for the link Debbie. Now I'm just wondering about the size. And yes Thistle, I've thought about holding off on the leather for now for that reason. Especially after my little angel got sick all over me yesterday..... I do work full time so me excuse is I can wear the good stuff to work but the truth is I see her before, after and during lunch.

That is awesome that you can see her at lunch! So fun!

Honestly, my DD is why I have held off on leather. Love the look, but I can just see he wiping her nose on me as I carry her to the car.

I do worry a bit about my white trousers, but a much lower investment than a leather jacket and they are machine washable!

I'm pretty lucky that I work a mile from my house and the babysitter! Thank you for the reality check. It will help my stress level if I stick with washable. Did I mention I was wearing a white skirt when she got sick? Three stain treatments later I think I got it clean!

Avia & Thistle, having 3 kids including a baby has not stopped me from wearing leather jackets and white jeans for MOTG. Life's too short to worry about your clothes. That's what baby wipes and Oxiclean are for!

I didn't try it on but I inspected the Bernardo jacket at NAS and the leather felt high quality to me.

I did order the white quilted bomber. I think I'm going to hold off on the leather jackets until I see how much of my budget I end up keeping in boots. Boots/shoes are really what I need and the jackets will always be around. Maybe. Unless I have a weak moment. Or actually go into Nordies....
