I'd never given a thought to this, but a friend today was pretty insistent that cuffing corduroys is a faux pas of sorts -- that it looks silly because the inside fabric doesn't match the outside. I pointed out that jeans don't look the same on the inside either, which is part of why we cuff them -- for contrast.
So, what's the verdict? Are cuffed cords a big no-no that I just wasn't aware of? Maybe there's some seasonal confusion at play, with an ankle-length pant in a winter wight fabric? (IMO seasonal confusion really isn't a persuasive argument right now, what with all the glen plaid culottes flying around!)
