Cue angels: I figured it out!

Several weeks ago I posted a link to a group of outfits that I adored, but given the colors, aren't my best. Still, they appealed to me so much, I was sure that there was a common denominator. Turns out, there was! And it wasn't the actual colors!

They were all HIGH VALUE contrast and LOW COLOR contrast. All 3 neutrals, or 2 neutrals + related color.

I can't believe it. It's like an epiphany. Now, if only I can apply these when I shop and put together outfits.

Ha ha! I just found out about this from the link that was posted here (I'm sorry, I can't recall who posted in, but thank you!) to Inside out Style. I suit high value contrast with medium colour, and I looked through what are my favourite outfits, and they are ALL this!
Interesting, isn't it!

I need to analyse some of my outfits more and see what contrast levels suit me.
