Cropped wide leg released hem for shorties?

I found these while browsing the new blogger Anna posted - there was a look there I loved, but of course the crops were too long. These however are 22", rather than the usual 26". Thoughts?

Those are fab. Try them! I will live vicariously through you. I have a pair of DIY hacked pants that will do for now. (Actually I quite love them, but they don't have the higher rise that the more modern ones do. And Current/Elliot is a great brand; love their jeans).

If the Beetlejuice pants are a bust, and if those work for you, I'm going to consider it.

I just ordered them. They were on sale and having looked at a billion pairs, this length is so very hard to find. I will keep you posted, and you need to let me know about the Beetlejuice pants because I almost ordered those too.

22" is pretty short. Your inseam is 1" longer than mine and the crops I had on in the photo I sent you this weekend are 23", for reference. Since these are wider all around they miiiiiight come across more like a wide capri versus that long-culotte look on the blogger. Still worth a try! I like the shorter length crops for wearing with flats/sandals; longer lengths with booties.

I had to size up in both the CE and the A Gold E jeans because of the high waist, FYI.

I don't know, Aida! I feel like I need that extra leg showing to prevent the stumpy look. The blogger looks tall and skinny, so that longer length works better on her. But man, I love her shoes!

Una, the blogger looks fab. Those jeans look really cool on her, and I want her shoes. I might do that look without the belt, though.

Hah Az, I should have clarified that I think the 22" would be short for Una because I know how long her legs are (and I mean that in the least creepy sounding way possible ). It's a good length for me, too.

My hunch is that the jeans will look proportionally shorter on you, Una, than they are on the blogger. But I could be wrong since these are much looser pants than the ones I had on! Working on the photos, promise. Managed to get today's outfit posted (win!). But last week is only halfway done ><

I noticed those. They are lovely. I wore my DIY crops today. I dropped my son off at a friends and I could see his mum couldn't take her eyes off the hemline.

Oh I love these -- thanks for posting, Una. I'll be interested to see how the length works on you.

I just tried a pair of JCrew selvedge wide leg crops but didn't love them on me so they went back. I love the blogger's look here because the denim looks very lightweight and floaty, which to me makes the wide leg work especially well. I also absolutely love them with the really pointed toe flat. Extreme fabulousness.

I'm tempted to try them although the price point is a bit of a killer.
