Crop jackets

Why do I like cropped jackets? I can't figure out why but I do like the way they work on my body. Anyone else have this going on besides me?

I am pondering a new moto but I am drawn to the cropped styles. Are these going to date (or are they already dated)?

I will be shopping for a leather jacket soon and will be looking for a cropped style like this.
I like the way shorter jackets accentuate the waist and allow for interesting layering.
Perhaps Angie will chime-in for the dating aspect of this length?

I think this type of cropped jacket (not the super duper short ones) are kind of classic actually and don't really date. They are really ideal with skirts and dresses, so maybe the current styling with pants might not be so current after a while, but I think you could always wear it with a dress.

I also love cropped jackets, but can almost never wear them thanks to where they hit me compared to my waist. I don't think ones of this length are dated, but I'm not fantastic at judging that.

This length seems pretty classic. The super cropped, boxy shapes aren't AS classic, but I do think it's all in how you wear them. A short crop with a skirt is more classic than a short crop with skinnies. The details of the cut matter, too. More trendy details generally = less staying power.

I don't have any jackets yet, but I'm looking for a cropped one. I think it's because they look better on me due to my short waist.

I like them because they highlight the waist rather than hiding it. I like even more cropped ones to balance bulky skirts.

This would be close to a regular length on me. I love cropped looks but struggle with the underlayer and how to avoid muffin top as someone without a waist.
