Hi ladies! I'm back home and happy to "see" you all!
So I'm going to try to keep this relatively concise. Croatia is beautiful, and I have about a million pictures that look like they could be straight off a postcard. If you are thinking about visiting, I highly recommend it.
For those just interested in the outfits and travel wardrobe - I packed grey jeans, white jeans, black shorts, olive dress, striped shirt, black shirt, mint tee, silver sweater, black and white tanks, grey leather jacket, black tights and other small items like undergarments and bathing suit. For shoes I had foldable travel flats (handy!), Caspians and oxfords. I had a perfect amount of clothing, I re-wore items and outfits a lot, but I didn't mind at all. I washed a few things in the tub twice, and lay them out to dry. The weather started in the low 20's (C) and got to 27C by the last 2 days! Thank goodness for the shorts and dress!
Pics 1-8 are my outfits. I don't think I captured every outfit, I did wear the shorts and the dress with tights once each.
For those also interested in the travel, pics 9-24. We flew into Zagreb but did not stay overnight there. We actually went to Slovenia first, the capital city is Ljubljana. We then went back to Croatia and stopped in many places including Plitvice national park (waterfalls!!!), Rovinj (gorgeous town on the water), various castles, Motovun, Pazin, Pula, Trogir, Split, and finally Dubrovnik. Most of these places are probably not widely known, but I think Dubrovnik is a fairly hot tourist location now that many would have heard of. Every single place was gorgeous beyond gorgeous. Very unique, old and beautiful. Since Canada is extremely young compared to European countries, I found that all the old houses, buildings and castles were so gorgeous because of their age. We have nothing like that here! So there's a general selection of photos of the trip, it was very hard to pick just a few.
