Cream Jackets - The Great Search Continues

So, I've ordered this jacket. Ironically I already own it in black (see photos). My one concern is that I do wish it were a tiny bit shorter. But, overall I like the black one I have and wear it frequently. It's lined in raw silk and so it actually holds a little warmth, unlike most leather jackets:

The color looks really BAD (IMO) in the 6pm photo. It's also for sale on Amazon.com for almost twice the price, and that photo is exactly the color I'm looking for. I'm worried because I ordered the last jacket from 6pm...likely a returned item, possibly damaged. )-: Hopefully not, but if it has to be returned I'm still on the hunt. What do you think of these back-up options? Have any alternative suggestions?

Hm, the topshop link doesn't work for me, but out of the two others, I hope the Joie works out for you. The blazer is nice, too, but the biker detail is more fun and gives a nice counterpoint to the bottoms in the pics you posted.

Anna, I can't pay more than maybe $300. More than that and it's just not worth it to me. I want light cream color, preferable not too sandy or too bright white. I want silver hardware or tonal buttons. Picky, I know! (-: For reference, this is an outfit where I would like to swap the denim jacket for a cream one.

ETA, now that I'm looking at them side by side I think this jacket may be too dark colored. It's so hard to tell! I still need to get the Rack to shop in person (I've heard they have a wide range of pleather jackets). My sickness stopped me from going this weekend.

Jenava, I like the pricey one #2 very much!! And I really like the Top Shop one, but its hard to make a judgement from the picture as I would like to see it on and even feel it.

I the one you already have in black, but for some reason I am not as attracted to it in the white/cream.

Deborah, I'm worried about that, too...I think it's all the black or dark silvered colored hardware.

Jenava, I really, really like the *cheap* Topshop one for you. The style is awesome and I think that the off-white would be prettier than an optic white or yellow-y cream on you. At that price, it's worth a try!

I second Claire that the Topshop creme jacket is a winner! Very nice cut and design. Faux leather this days can be decent quality, and certainly look great!

I bought this BB Dakota cream leather jacket in medium and and now small, am returning the medium. Very pleased with it! Plus if you go to retailmenot.com you can get a further 20% off. Identical to this one from shopbop.com but more of a cream than a pinky shade. The only negative: unlined but also this makes it better for my hot summers. (It's a little hard to get the sleeves on).

It is a tricky thing to find! I've just ordered the one Denise linked to (in cream)! I was seduced by the price and the very long sleeves, and how fab it looks on Denise. I think it's funny that they refer to the "suede" lining (i.e., it's unlined and the other side of the leather is suede!).

Denise, if it works out, I will be in your debt :). I can't believe the price! I have been wanting something similar, but just didn't want to pay too much, since my spring is so short. But...I'm thinking I could wear this in the fall, maybe, too...
