Love a pleated skirt, and all stylings (and all shoes!) except the white cardi in 1&2 from second batch. The most I like it with the fringed tie-dye sweater in nr 8/ second batch. And, what about a tee and a denim jacket to it?

I like it with the more streamlined black boots (both the pointy ones and the flats) most, and the tie dye and red sweaters from the second batch. Try with your sock booties too!

Lovely skirt! It looks like you want to find a good combo with some of your boots. I like it the most with Converse and would style it with sneakers. It looks very much lady-like with more refined footwear, which is great if it’s your intention here.

I’d think that chunky tops should be wider and perhaps cropped. In the second set of pictures, I like all from #3 on.

The first three photos, I thought, aren’t quite you. But I got to #4, and thought, “Now we’re cooking with gas!”. The rest of the photos were great. I think this skirt is amazing when you add your little unexpected and/or edgy touches, such as the stompy boots or the patterned sweater. Definitely keep that skirt if you love it, because you are really rocking it!

I also think maybe you could look at old Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen photos, if you ever want to dress this skirt up for an event. I would love to see what you come up with!

My 2 cents; the closer fitting tops especially with welted bottoms look best to me mostly because of the volume on the skirt. Then add a jeans jacket over one of those if desired.

KKards, love the skirt and how you've styled it! I don't see any "crazy ex girlfriend" but a "reacquainted friend" !

Mary Beth can you pls. be so kind and provide some links-or keywords? Tried to google, but not really found those looks you said for dressing up thus very curious to see some designer inspiration, thank you!:-)

What a great skirt. It definitely looks best with a shorter top, though I think I'd prefer something welted to the semi-tuck, as others have said.
