Now that the NAS is online and I have seen the goodies, I have a strong hankering for something camel for fall- or maybe it's just that I was looking at real camels this weekend and found them charming. They were the only animal in the whole park which responded to us, even though camels are usually very nasty.

Oh yes, I love me some camel. Camel and black has always been a favorite neutral combo of mine. Camel is so much more luxe than the soul-sucking beige colors.

I have ordered this Trouve jacket in camel too and hope it suits my coloring - I think you need to get the right shade of camel otherwise it is not much better than soul-sucking beige. I have tried 2 camel coats at NAS and was not impressed with how they looked on me so i left with a red one!

I think you're right, Sveta- you do have to find the right shade. I may spend all fall trying to find the right shade in the right cut for the right price.

I'm liking the camels I see this year. They seem more golden and less drab, soul-sucking than past iterations I recall. I was pretty sure I'd sit out camel this time (having done it quite a few times over the decades!), but I'm cautiously considering it. . .

Camel doesn't do me any favours but I love it. Years ago I had a camel hair suit that I just loved to death. Such a wonderful, comfy fabric.

This looks a little lighter than regular camel but I really like it.

Fall always makes me crave camel. Something about a beautifully tailored wool or cashmere coat in camel is so luxe and beautiful.

Camel is great! But it has to be the right shade. There are lots of....er....distasteful shades of camel too.

The Helene Bergman cape at the NAS is the perfect shade of camel.

This is true about camel. You only want the healthy, robust, spitting camel. Not the pale, moldy, broke-down in the desert camel. That camel's name is soul-sucking. The desirable camel's name? I don't know, so I'll just call him Wayne.

I enjoy camel paired with black. So chic! The trouve blazer in camel washed me out but would look fab on others. It's a great little blazer.

I love camel. My birthday is in the fall so I'm always drawn to fall colors and caramel corn is my number one weakness. I have been pining for a super great camelhair coat for years. Still have not found the perfect one (in my price range), but I have lots of camel items and can't wait to bring them out.
