Will try to come back to this thread later but yes Brooklyn is right, I have the tall ones and do wear them with skirts. (Usually with leggings though, but just because these boots are quite wintery, so it’s usually on days that are too cold for bare legs!) That being said I do find the mid calf shaft height works better with skirts. (In general. I don’t have the shorter Crave boots but I do have a similar style from a different brand. I find standard ankle height combat boots to sometimes be a little awkward with skirts, but that’s mostly to do with my leg shape.)
I find myself almost exclusively wearing combat boots this season, for whatever reason. Maybe just because it’s the kind of year where I feel like it’s good to be able to kick someone and/or run away at any moment lol.
