Cozy slipper suggestions?

Want to ask Santa for a new pair of slippers - looking for the latest and greatest. I want them lined because my feet are always freezing! Right now I have these Uggs and they are worn out.

I haven't found anything softer and more comfy than Uggs! I just wear the boots as slippers, though. I like my ankles to be warm, too.

Ugg slippers! I bought a pair when I won that $300 TJ Maxx gift card years ago and haven't looked back since. Nothing beats the comfort and warmth. I'd ask Santa for a replacement pair.

I have the coquette ugg slippers, they look almost just like yours. I love them but I think next time I will get ones that are more like booties and cover more of the foot to keep me warmer.

I have owned those LL Bean slippers, I agree they are terrific. And my sister swears by the Haflinger wooly slippers.

I have been eyeing these, they've been in my "Saved for Latter" part of my shopping cart for a while. I'm preferring the Ugg boots but feel shy about getting them for fear I would be laughed off the YLF forum! Do I get a pass if I only wear them as indoor/outdoor slippers?

Never tried Uggs but I'm with Anna, Haflinger boiled wool clogs all the way.

Haflinger! Haflinger! Haflinger! Really, once you try them, you can't go back. They're warm yet light, and offer fantastic arch support. I'm a huge fan since buying a pair last winter.

Oh, wow! Such good suggestions! Thank you all. I wonder if it's time to pull out the heavy artillery and buy Ugg boots as CocoLion suggests. Slippers are their original purpose so I have no problem wearing them as such.

Are those Haflingers warm?? They must be lined?

Laura I don't buy the Haflinger slippers but the clogs than Anna has posted. They are unlined boiled wool. They are a thick fabric and being boiled wool the water repels if the family has a horrid virus over Christmas and you have to just run out to the pharmacy in your "slippers".

I find the support excellent, much better than any true slipper and really warm. I went out to replace mine earlier this fall but they didn't have my size so thanks for the reminder to return to the store.

Haflinger here too. Mine are the soft soled boiled wool because I like to sit on the furniture with my feet curled up. I like the idea of the hard soles but for me I think it would be too much like wearing a shoe. But, I have never tried that slipper on and could be way off base.
